  • 1994: Busted through the saloon doors of the universe.

  • 1999-2002: Started selling art and knick-knacks in school.

  • 2013: Moved to beautiful Durango, Colorado for college.

  • 2014-2015: Took a few engineering courses. Volunteered with Engineers without Borders (Village Aid Project). Decided to pursue my bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design.

  • 2014-2017: Worked various fun jobs throughout college. Built sets in a theatre. Took peoples’ portraits on a historic steam engine train. Developed an interest in entrepreneurship while working for the Small Business Development Center.

  • 2017: Started working in the nonprofit sector. Co-launched a boutique doughnut shop in Durango.

  • 2018: Led a stakeholder process to get Durango certified as a Creative District under the Colorado governor’s office. Filed its articles of incorporation as a nonprofit, and became its first Executive Director.

  • 2018-2019: Launched new grant programs for artists in Durango. Funded over 30+ public art projects.

  • 2020: Co-directed a campaign that successfully passed a lodgers tax increase in Durango, which now funds Arts & Culture projects in perpetuity.

  • 2021: Co-founded and ran the Animas City Night Bazaar, a summer festival in Durango.

  • 2022: Balanced out freelance graphic design work with volunteering in gardens/farms around the world.

  • 2023-2024: Decided Wellington, NZ was my perfect place. Became Design Director at Studio Superfunc.
